Issue 01: Alumni Voices

In the Writing Program, we're committed to teaching students the fundamentals of analytical argument. But our success in doing so extends beyond the four years that the students write papers for their undergraduate classes. To get a sense of how far-reaching these skills are, we sought out alumni across class years. We wanted to know how graduates of Harvard College use writing in their careers, as varied as they are. We asked them to share with us their stories of their writing experiences, how their ideas about writing have changed over time, and what advice they have for undergraduates. Here we share with you some of what we learned by talking to the alumni of Expos.
